Descripción de la Exposición

The exhibition Never Again is a memoir of our everyday life, which explore the shared memories of urban spaces, homes, and nature. In the works of Carlos SAGRERA, Hisaya TAIRA, Yigal OZERI, photography is used to capture the fleeting moments, detaching the fragments of life from the linear time and space, exploring the boundary between the mundane and the unknown. Through transferring the image onto a canvas, the inner reality of the artist is found within the delicate and intricate brushwork, fabricating the past and present with memory and fantasy, creating a sense of déjà vu. It presents the most familiar scene of our daily life, like a distant memory as if our body can no longer remember its connection and got left out of the picture. In Never Again, the viewers become their own ghosts- a ghost that revisits the long-forgotten where existence is found within the absence.
