Descripción de la Exposición

Saludarte Foundation Ideobox Artspace is pleased to announce the launch of the 2016 Uprooting Architecture curatorial program, with the first US solo exhibition by Brazilian artist Ana Mazzei. The exhibition is comrpised of a large-scale site-specific work specially commissioned for this occasion. The Series, and specially its first episode produced by Ana Mazzei, claims the necessary performativity in the process of occupying the space, and presents the passive action as the only mode to make possible the free circulation of the discourses that are confronted within the city. How to think about the place but from the corporal form that amplifies the urban experience? Which is the gravity that makes all the bodies fall into a common ordering principle? From what corrective appliances this spaces that force and draw the geography of the body arise? To what extend body elasticity is correlative to urban elasticity?
