Descripción de la Exposición Palmero will reveal his collection 'Meninas Y Arlequines', a series of 23 paintings in various dimensions, composing meninas, harlequins and a small collection of female fortune tellers. 'Meninas' represent women and nature, while 'arlequines' are a symbolic representation of the artist himself. In all characters, the strength in their sight brings out emotions of the viewers. Frequently, Palmero is defined as a contemporary figurative painter who enhances the artistic expression of nature's energy. The colour strength and sensitivity of his stroke makes his paintings a skillful work and a great delight. All of his work is full of realism with precise brush strokes. After a successful exhibition in Doha, Qatar in June this year, this exhibition will further expand Palmero's international presence, The exhibition will be open to the public from September 14th to the 25th inclusive. It is presented by The Consulate General of Spain and Gallery by the Harbour in Hong Kong and curated by Sofia Caspar. Opening reception to meet the artist on Friday 16th of September, 6pm to 9pm. National and international recognition Alfredo Palmero is known for his portraits of H.M. King Don Juan Carlos and his son, Prince Felipe. His works are collected by The Spanish Royal Family, Casa de Alba Foundation, International Olympic Committee ex-president Juan Antonio Samaranch, and The Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla La Mancha, among others. Alfredo Palmero will be exhibiting in Kuwait and Peru in the coming months.
