Descripción de la Exposición

Joana Vasconcelos returns to London with "Material World", master solo exhibition that gathers more than 40 new works. The show will be presented at Phillips London, where the monumental Material Girl will be standing out - the new and surprising "Valkyrie" made with different tones of pink and thousands of LED lights. Other highlights are the use of mirrors and LED lights in the new works for the "Crochet Paintings" series, as well as Gary, the first giant snail from the "Bordalos" series. The exhibition will coincide with the publication of the monograph exclusively dedicated to the artist's textile work, published by Thames & Hudson.
