Descripción de la Exposición
Loop Barcelona, the annual event devoted to artists’ films, stages during November a Festival (11 – 24), a Professional Fair (19 – 21) and a Symposium (20 – 21). Loop serves as a vibrant hub for moving image enthusiasts where artists, gallerists, curators, collectors, scholars, and distributors can connect. With a dynamic setup tailored to address the needs of each group, Loop fosters meaningful collaborations across the field.
The 22nd edition of Loop Festival invites us to explore how different artistic gestures can provoke subtle yet significant tremors that, by raising awareness in the viewer, can ultimately affect power structures.
The program unfolds through exhibitions, screenings, and various activities in museums, institutions and other city spaces. It features a main section — curated by einaidea, LaOtra, Sofía Lemos, Joseph del Pesco, Pascale Cassagnau, Beatriz Escudero — and, simultaneously, City Screen, a program that takes place in art galleries and independent spaces, involving artists, organizations, and professionals from both local and international scenes.
The programming for this edition has been developed in collaboration with the following entities: L’Alternativa - CCCB Hall, Casa Elizalde, CASA SEAT, Casa de Rusia, Fabra i Coats - Centre d’Art Contemporani, Fundació Enric Miralles, Hangar, Institut del Teatre, Museu de la Música, Museu Picasso, Palau Robert, and Zumzeig, among others.
