Descripción de la Exposición ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera... The nature and environment of these Mediterranean Isles have probably always been the main subject of art in the Balearic Islands. After the success of the exhibition ISLEART in Berlin, the Institut Ramon Llull presents in London the work of five artists who sum up the last few decades of creative endeavours in the Balearic Islands: Erwin Bechtold, Ñaco Fabre, Robert Ferrer i Martorell, Pep Llambias and Guillem Nadal. The current relevance of their languages and their sharp sensibility to the movements of their times make them highly representative artists: their names enable us to understand the current status of Art in the Balearic Islands-and, by extension, in Europe as well.
