Descripción de la Exposición

The exhibition features U.S. Latino and Latin American artists from the late 1950s to the present and will be on view through October 15, 2017. A fully illustrated catalogue published by the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center Press is forthcoming. HOME - So Different, So Appealing is organized by the UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and is curated by Chon A. Noriega, Director, UCLA Chicano Studies Research Center; Mari Carmen Ramirez, Wortham Curator of Latin American Art, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; and Pilar Tompkins Rivas, Director, Vincent Price Art Museum. The exhibition is part of Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, a series of thematically linked exhibitions that are an initiative of the Getty. Home - So Different, So Appealing will travel to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston on November 19, 2017 and will be on view there through February 4, 2018.
