Miami, March 29, 2023: On the 50th Anniversary of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso’s death, Gary Nader Art Centre will pay homage to the work of the cubist genius with the opening of an exhibition on April 6th at the gallery’s space in the Wynwood Arts District, bringing together signature works by contemporary masters influenced by his monumental work and legacy.
Picasso devoted himself to an artistic production that contributed to the development of modern art in the 20th century, changing art forever. He never stopped creating and experimenting by exploring almost every artistic medium and the extensive range of styles he helped establish and explore.
The freedom and experimentation that characterizes every aspect of Picasso’s paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and graphic work can be seen in the oeuvre of artists presented in this exhibition, such as Basquiat, Botero, Cardenas, Bravo, Chagall, Condo, Cruz-Diez, Delaunay, Eliason, Gorky, Henry, Hudson Kieffer, Kippenberger, Lam, Larraz, Leger, Matta, Miro, Nevelson, Pelaez, Picasso, Plensa, Quinn, Rivera, Ruff, Soto, Stella, Tamayo, Torres-Garcia, Vasarely, and Vigas.
Gary Nader Art Centre is a leading international gallery dedicated more than three decades to supporting and recognizing Latin American art and promoting established Latin American, Modern, and Contemporary Masters.
