Descripción de la Exposición

Belo Campo is an epiphyte space for contemporary cultures initiated and run by artist Adrien Missika and hosted by Galeria Francisco Fino. It is located in the basement of the gallery in a former wine cellar. Belo Campo is a not-for-profit structure that aims to infuse and diffuse ideas, experiment with space and time, propose and question formats of contemporary cultures. The project Belo Campo opens with the exhibition Follow You by Gina Folly, the 10th of November at 10pm. Gina Folly (CH, 1983), is a visual artist living and working in Basel. She graduated from the Department of Media and Culture and received her MA in Fine Arts from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). In 2014, Folly was awarded a scholarship by the Swiss Institute of Rome for the residency programme Studio Roma, beginning of 2017 she was selected to complete the residency offered by Triangel France in Marseille and in spring 2018 she will be in New York for the Swiss Institute residency. She has presented her work in solo shows, among the most recent: I want you to live in my city, Ermes-Ermes, Vienna (2017), Domestic Problems, Almanac, London (2016), Ströme, SALTS, Basel (2015). She has particpated in group shows in different institutions, namely at Le Doc (Paris), Kunsthaus Glarus (CH), Kunsthalle Basel (CH) or Fitzpatrick-Leland House, Los Angeles, amongst others. Since 2013, Gina Folly has been running the artist space “Taylor Macklin”, based in Zurich, together with Selina Grüter and Michèle Graf.
