Descripción de la Exposición
In art, paper has served for centuries as a carrier for drawings, sketches or prints. In these cases, it enjoys by far not the same status as the representations to be seen on it. However, when paper is transformed from its usual flatness into a three-dimensional form, it can attain an astonishing presence. The works shown here prove how infinitely changeable and multifaceted art made of paper is. The exhibition is not only about focusing on the individual creative achievements of these highly regarded artists, but also about using juxtapositions of different artistic positions to awaken associations and, as it were, set dialogues in motion.
