Food for Thought August 6 - August 18, 2018 Curated by RE: ARTISTE International Art Organization at Gallery MC: 545 West 52nd Street, Floor 8, New York, NY 10019   Reception & Party: August 10, 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM The exhibition is comprised of works of three dozen international artists creating in an array of genres, from figurative to conceptual. The artworks show elements of our habitat and our interaction with it: the conditions we live in, the food we produce and consume, the inspiration we get. We are a hierarchical series of organisms, dependent on each other as a source of food, information, inspiration, or knowledge. We are parts of nature - we are nature, the elements of the environment. Are we a joy or damage to our habitat, planet Earth?   The artists are inspired by the beauty of nature that gives us a place to live, food to eat  AND  food for thought.
