Descripción de la Exposición
"(...) Campo de Flores, 2020, could be seen as a variation of usual supports for the placement of devotional candles in churches, but it does allow other more geometric readings or with other echoes in art history. When choosing the title Campo de Flores for this art work, the artist seems to suggest a specific way of reading but the ambiguity remains: they are black flowers. The use of paraffin and the suggestion of "self-destructive" adds to the works another level of vulnerability or ephemerality, since if we want to imagine we cannot resist the temptation to 'light the candles' the appearance of the works would be radically altered or, destroyed.(...)"
