Descripción de la Exposición

Jack Shainman Gallery announces Enrique Martínez Celaya's first solo exhibition at the gallery, "Empires: Sea and Empires: Land". This two-part exhibition comprises an interconnected group of new paintings and sculpture. Conversations of land and sea inevitably converge at the shore, the fluid border between the two opposing elements. The works in this exhibition speak to that latent tension, with open narratives that meditate on our personal empires and domains, ultimately exploring the struggles and achievements, either momentous or imperceptible, that define our lives.
