Descripción de la Exposición
Proyectos Ultravioleta will show a joint exhibition by mother-daughter artists Elisabeth Wild and Vivian Suter. The presentation sees Suter’s characteristically vibrant unstretched canvases hung freely in a way that evokes the lush greenery surrounding her house and studio in Lake Atitlán (Guatemala), alongside a selection of Wild’s lapidary collages, composed of magazine cutouts.
No.9 Cork Street will present a year-round programme of exhibitions by visiting galleries, building on Frieze’s longstanding commitment to enriching London’s arts community and strengthening the city’s position as an international arts centre.
Housed in two converted townhouses designed by architecture studio Matheson Whiteley and developed in partnership with The Pollen Estate, No.9 Cork Street encompasses three fully equipped gallery spaces with accompanying viewing rooms and an event space. Furniture throughout is provided by Modernity, specialists in the collection and sale of furniture, ceramics, glass, lighting and jewellery by the most renowned Nordic designers of the 20th century.
