Descripción de la Exposición

In this photographic series, Crossing the Line, common scenes in urban landscapes, places that we all pass by without giving them any particular importance - metro stations, buildings, walls, sidewalks- are decontextualized. These abstract images show the everyday, often overlooked poetry of the urban environment, where lines are the protagonists. A line, as thin as it might be, indicates separation -phisical or symbolic- between surfaces, spaces, people, countries. This notion of division is constantly present in our daily visual reality, making the question of appropriateness of "lines/borders" palpable.
