..Closing Distances... is a selection of Salvadoran artist's work from the Mario Cader-Frech collection on the 3rd floor of the 11 11 Lincoln Road office building. Curated by Y.ES, the exhibition features work by Mayra Barraza, Ernesto Bautista, Karlos Carcamo, Rodrigo Dada, Rafael Diaz, Mauricio Esquivel, Melissa Guevara, Walterio Iraheta, Ronald Moran, Irvin Morazan, Luis Paredes, Crack Rodriguez and Simon Vega. ...Closing Distances...investigates themes of violence, politics, public transport, architecture, and more, through explorations of street culture as well as the human the body and its relationship to the urban environment--approaches that are rooted in the reality of the everyday.
