Descripción de la Formación
The CIMAM 2016 Annual Conference will be held in Barcelona from 18 to 20 November, followed by the two days post-conference tour.
The CIMAM Annual Conference is a timely discussion of current concerns and challenges of modern and contemporary art museums around the world. It is also a platform to discuss broader trends in the art museum world, engaging museum professionals as well as artists and thinkers in the field of culture and society, so as to critically appraise developments and changes in the art museum sector at large.
The overarching theme of this year’s conference will be the Museum and its Responsibilities in the new global and economic situation.
In order to reflect the realities of the context and the experiences of museum professionals and artists around the world, the CIMAM Conference Committee would like to invite CIMAM Members to propose specific topics and potential speakers responding to this theme.
We request that CIMAM Members to submit the focuses and topics for the forthcoming conference, as well as recommendation for speakers and case studies around the theme Museum and its Responsibilities. Please email your proposals to conference@cimam.org by 1 April, 2016.
