Descripción de la Exposición
On November 25th, at 4PM, at KUBIKULO (Rua da Restauração nº10, Porto) opens the intervention Cada um pinta como sabe [Every person paints as they know] by Carlos Mensil.
Cada um pinta como sabe can be seen as a provocation to painting as an artisctic discipline, putting in perspective what we understand as its practices. The manipulation of one or several materials in the construction of the painting in an independent relation with space and light, channels to other questions. In this case, maybe the most evident one is the site-specific, since it suggests a planned representation to function at the space but denied, precisely, by what it makes it look perfectly integrated by the versatility of its form.
