Descripción de la Exposición Some 50 young visual artists from Europe and the US will feature recent work at the Bosch Young Talent Show (BYTS) at the Stedelijk Museum, 's-Hertogenbosch, which runs from 17 September to 16 October 2011. Talented under-thirties artists will present new paintings, sculpture, photography and drawings along with videos, collages and performances. In so doing, this second edition of the international, contemporary art event will again be providing an up-to-the-minute overview of developments in contemporary art to art lovers, dealers and collectors. Unique concept and cutting edge talent BYTS concept is unique. Young artists are chosen to take part by scouts - noted, internationally known artists from any of the so-called Bosch cities, i.e. centres which own one or more works by the Netherlands' most important Medieval painter, Hieronymus Bosch, in a collection of a public museum. These scouts make a choice of the more thoughtprovoking works of students and graduates (under 30) from the art schools of their own Bosch town. A challenging concept with an exciting and innovative result. These are young artists who, just like Hieronymus Bosch five hundred years ago, work on furthering the development of a visual language to give contemporary art its identity and flavour. The BYTS also provides them with the opportunity to continue what they're doing at an international level, while mindful of the legacy of Hieronymus Bosch.
