Descripción de la Exposición

Thierry Raspail, outgoing artistic director of the Lyon Biennale, has entrusted the curatorship of the 15th edition of the Biennale to Jean de Loisy and his team of curators at the Palais de Tokyo: Daria de Beauvais, Adélaïde Blanc, Yoann Gourmel, Katell Jaffrès, Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, Vittoria Matarrese, Claire Moulène, and Hugo Vitrani. "It is a truly exciting challenge for the curators of the Palais de Tokyo to curate the next Lyon Biennale: a Biennale that will continue to push beyond the conventional boundaries of art; a Biennale that will encourage artists to produce innovative and ambitious works; a Biennale that will celebrate the productive and cultural capacities of an entire region in an international context; a Biennale that will be composed like a landscape in movement. As 14th century poet Eustache Deschamps famously wrote: 'He nothing knows who never leaves his home.'" –Jean de Loisy
