Descripción de la Exposición

In order to make the video-work Antenna (2011) a series of drawings was started in 2006.

 

The drawings (Indian ink on 300 gr. Artistic Fabriano paper measuring 50 x 50 cm) were based on photographs shot in Portugal, Spain and USA, between 2006 and 2011.

 

The video-work is made out of 50 drawings.

 

The soundtrack was composed with sounds recorded and played by Rui Gato on an analog synthesizer - the same analog synthesizer model Kraftwerk used on the Antenna song in their 1975 album Radio-Activity.

 

The video was edited by Pedro Reis.
