Descripción de la Formación
After the success of its previous symposiums:
• 2016: Symposium on Corporate Collections and Museums – Synergies and New Perspectives on Collaboration, at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam
• 2018: Symposium on The role and importance of site-specific commissions and art in public spaces, at Deutsche Bank, Berlin
IACCCA invites you to take part in an in-depth debate on how the ecological challenges of our era influence artistic practices.
The symposium will bring together high-profile professionals from
the cultural world: artists, curators, academics, creative producers or representatives of cultural organisations to discuss how art could play a role in imagining new ways of living in our present time.
With this Symposium, IACCCA wishes to get to know new artistic practices that are being developed while facing crucial issues such as the ecosystem but also to offer an opportunity to broaden our ways of thinking and to debate on how we can act and integrate art into our environments.
The discussions will be organised in two sessions, each featuring speakers who are invited to present a 20-minute paper. Presentations will be followed by a moderated debate among panel members, and
a larger discussion on critical issues will be opened up to audience participation.
