Talking Galleries announces the celebration of the 10th edition of the Barcelona Symposium, scheduled for January 22–23, 2024, at the MACBA Auditorium.
The journey, which began in Barcelona in 2011, has seen Talking Galleries evolve into an international beacon of art thinking and knowledge sharing. For a decade, it has remained at the forefront, bringing together thought leaders, pioneers, and art enthusiasts to address the most pressing issues in the gallery sector and the broader art market.
Programme of the the 2024 edition
DAY 1 – Monday, January 22nd
Opening session | "Mennour: Navigating Gallery Growth in Today's Art World," with Kamel Mennour in conversation with Alain Quemin (Sociologist of art)
Panel discussion | "The Gallery Without Walls," with Josechu Carreras (Director, Hauser & Wirth Spain), Victoria Gelfand-Magalhaes (Senior Partner, Europe, Lévy Gorvy Dayan), and Elliot McDonald (Senior Vice President, Pace Gallery), moderated by Henry Little (Senior Consultant, The Fine Art Group)

To conclude the day, there will be a visit to the exhibitions at MACBA, followed by a welcome dinner for guests and registered attendees.
