Descripción de la Exposición

New works of the brazilian artist Albano Afonso (São Paulo 1964). Based on the least common denominator of painting, photography and cinema light the artist creates landscapes and tableaux with different materials to examine the anatomy of light. Not by chance, constellations, crystals, light bulbs and mirrors are constants in his vocabulary. His work is represented in several public collections such as Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo, Brasil; Coleção Gilberto Chateaubriand, Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brasil; University of Essex Collection of Latin American Art, UK, among others.
