Descripción del Premio ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- ´ACE is an independent and non profit artist-in-residence centre in the visual arts located in the city of Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina. Our residencies, exhibitions, international projects and workshops PROGRAMS act as bridges connecting foreign artists with artists from Argentine provinces and all of them with the urban and social environment of the city, one of the Latin America cultural centre Its MISSION is to promote contemporary artistic practices that involve printmaking, photography, design and new media exploring their mutual interfaces, as well as the capacity of multiple, through research and production residencies; promoting exchange, discussion, experimentation and collaboratively work. Our VISION is to be an inspiring place to creativity, only in its kind in South America that achieves to unite artists around the world and to short the distances between old and new technologies and artistic genres. UPCOMING APPLICATION DEADLINE: The 2nd Open Call 2013 application deadline for all the residencies is May 31st and must be submitted only via our online application form. APPLICATION PROCESS There is not application fee. To apply applicants should: 1) Ask for Guidelines and Fees here and receive these documents: a) Residency guidelines and fees b) Application Form. 2) Read carefully these documents, understanding the costs involved and what the residency fee does and does not include all described in the guidelines. You can also have additional information at FAQ. 3) Send an email to info(at)proyectoace.org with: -Subject: 'ApplicationForm_yourname&lastname' - Applicattion form filled with the required information: - Letter of intention - Personal Resume or CV. - 10 images of recent work. Applicants may upload images (jpg) with a resolution of 72 ppi and a largest dimension around 800 px. SELECTION ace´s review committee will select high quality projects that fulfill three important aspects: a) Quality of the project in relationship with our goals and artistic focus b) Artist's statement and previous work c) Potentiality to make the project with our facilities and expertise. NOTIFICATION After checking date availability, selected projects will be notified to artists approximately 30 days after each deadline, if you need a sooner review please state it in your letter of intention.
El programa tiene como misión promover las prácticas artísticas contemporáneas que utilicen la gráfica, la fotografía, el diseño y los nuevos medios explorando sus mutuas hibridaciones y su capacidad de múltiple, a través de residencias de investigación y producción, promoviendo el intercambio, la discusión, la experimentación y el trabajo en colaboración.
