Pedro Lagoa is a visual artist whose recent work centres mostly around specific concepts and practices of destruction, exploring the potential of the destructive act to constitute itself both as an expression of refusal and a critical tool that works across different temporalities. He is the founder of the archive of destruction, which had its first public presentation in London in 2007, and has since been developing in an open and organic way.
