Paris, France, 1979. Lives and works in Rotterdam, Berlin and Rio de Janeiro. Studied at the Rietveld Academy and the Rijksacademie in Amsterdam. He has been living and working in Rio de Janeiro since 2012. Many of his works (films and slide-projections) explore the many facets of personal narratives and focus on one of Pablo's close acquaintances or family members, such as his stepfather in Andrew Reid (2003). He combines alluring anecdotes about his own personal family history with an erudite understanding of the power of images and storytelling to create work that forces viewers to reflect on the contingencies of time, place, and the changing state of our everyday.
