Gonçalo Sena lives and works between Lisbon and Berlin. Exhibiting regularly since 2006, the following solo exhibitions are highlighted: Túmulo Desenho, 102-100 Galeria de Arte, Castelo Branco, Portugal (2012), Due linde in un lago + Colonna in Silenzio, Galleria Enrico Fornello, Milan, Italy (2011); Naquilo que se ergue, advém a terra como o que dá guarida, Baginski, Galeria/ Projectos, Lisbon, Portugal (2010); as well as the group shows: The Exact Weight Of Lightness, Travessía Cuatro, Madrid, Spain (2012), Como proteger-se do tigre, XVI Vila Nova de Cerveira s Biennial, Portugal (2011), A Museum is to Art what a great Translator is to a Writer, Baginski, Galeria/ Projectos, Lisbon, Portugal (2010); On the Razor s Edge, Galería Heinrich Ehrhardt, Madrid, Spain, EDP Novos Artistas 2009, Museu da Eletricidade, Lisbon, Portugal (2009), A River Ain t Too Much To Love, Spike Island, Bristol, UK (2008). Currently he is co-organiser of Parkour space, at Lisbon, having also in 2009 co-organised the exhibitions and events cycle Estados - Gerais, at ArteContempo, Lisbon, and since 2007 been the co-director of the publisher ATLAS Projectos. Gonçalo Sena s work is featured in private and public collections, such as the Fundação EDP s and Madeira Corporate Service s Collections.
