Descripción del Artista
Marta Jimenez-Salcedo is a visual artist and costume designer. She is graduated in Fine Arts by the University of Barcelona (2008) and MA in Costume Design for Performance by London College of Fashion-UAL (2013).
Since 2007 she has been involved in numerous art projects including Balikbayan shown at Cloud Dance Festival 2014, There Is Not
Way Back at Sadler ́s Wells Theatre and Shakespeare In A Suitcase at Victoria & Albert Museum.
She has also been nomitated for Deustche Bank Design Awards (London 2013) and won the1st Prize in the Visual Arts Competition of
La Casa Elizalde Cultural Centre (Barcelona 2008) and in the Antonio Saura Grant for Training and Artistic Research by the Provincial
Government of Huesca (Huesca 2011).
Based in London, her current line of work researches the use of unusual materials and methods in the construction of costumes that can inform new lines in choreography and performative language.
A keen interest in international experimental and collaborative projects, in UK, Spain or elsewhere.

Las Becas de Artes Visuales de la Diputación de Huesca apuestan por el arte regional
